Výstava predstavuje 90 fotografií zo zbierky Loly Garrido, ktoré vytvorilo 64 autorov. Tento súbor diel pokrýva krátky, no veľmi plodný priebeh histórie tohto média. Začína sa melancholickými a éterickými portrétmi Julie Margaret Cameron, ktorej jemný prístup rozbíjal prísne kanóny viktoriánskej éry, a končí deväťdesiatymi rokmi dvadsiateho storočia, keď Nan Goldin odhaľuje svoju intimitu, aby nám pripomenula, že príbehy prepisovať možno, nie však pamäť.
The exhibition presents 90 photographs belonging to the Lola Garrido
collection, taken by 64 authors. A group of works that covers the short but profitable course of the history of the medium. It starts with the melancholic and ethereal portraits of Julia Margaret Cameron, whose soft approaches disarmed the rigid canons of the Victorian era, until the nineties of the twentieth century, when Nan Goldin exposes her intimacy, to remind us that stories can be rewritten but memory cannot.
