Výstava ve své první části představuje výběr ze souboru portrétů vytvořených ve spolupráci s výraznými osobnostmi české hudební a taneční scény. Fotografka Štěpánka Stein a výtvarnice Vendy Mlejnská je zachycují v okamžiku soustředění i uvolnění, ve chvíli, kdy se tělo a gesta stávají součástí neviditelné partitury.
Na tuto linii navazuje výběr dalších současných českých autorek, jejichž díla se rodí na hranicích mezi světlem a tmou, mezi snem a skutečností. Každá z nich přináší do společného prostoru vlastní tón a rytmus – jednou křehce šeptaný, jindy výrazně akcentovaný. Jejich fotografie pracují s fragmentem i celkem, s okamžikem, který se vzpírá uchopení, i s příběhem, který se otevírá jen pozornému pozorovateli.
Kurátorská dvojice Štěpánka Stein a Eva Mořická připravila citlivý výběr, který zdůrazňuje právě tuto rozmanitost pohledů a zároveň odhaluje společnou citlivost k neviditelnému a nepojmenovanému. Vystavená díla otevírají prostor, v němž se setkávají intimní výpovědi s obecnějšími otázkami o tom, jak současná generace žen nahlíží realitu.

In its opening section, the exhibition presents a selection of portraits created in collaboration with leading figures of the Czech music and dance scene. Photographer Štěpánka Stein and artist Vendy Mlejnská capture them in moments of concentration and release, when the body and its gestures become part of an invisible score.
This line continues with a selection of other contemporary Czech women photographers, whose works emerge on the boundary between light and dark, between dream and reality. Each contributes her own tone and rhythm to the shared space – sometimes delicately whispered, at other times boldly accentuated. Their photographs navigate between fragment and whole, between fleeting moments and elusive stories that reveal themselves only to the attentive observer.
The curatorial duo Štěpánka Stein and Eva Mořická have prepared a thoughtful selection that highlights this diversity of perspectives while also uncovering a shared sensitivity to the invisible and unnamed. The exhibited works open a space where intimate testimonies intersect with broader questions about how today’s generation of women perceives reality.
