Inge Morath patrí k umelkyniam, ktoré pri rozsiahlych cestách zdokumentovali veľké kultúrne priestory a ktoré vďaka svojmu intenzívnemu zaoberaniu sa ľuďmi vytvorili nadčasovo platné portréty.
Výstava prác fotoumelkyne Inge Morath zahŕňa úseky jej celoživotného diela. Počnúc prvými fotoprojektmi v raných 50. rokoch v Španielsku a Benátkach cez veľkú skupinu umeleckých portrétov, ktorým sa venovala celý život, siaha výstava až po intenzívnu konfrontáciu s jej druhým, zvoleným domovom v New Yorku, jej cestami pozdĺž Dunaja až po Rumunsko a obrazy početných návštev v Rakúsku.
Inge Morath is one of the artists who documented large cultural spaces during her extensive travels and who, thanks to her intensive engagement with people, created timeless portraits.
The exhibition of the works includes sections of her life’s work. Starting with the first photo projects in the early 1950s in Spain and Venice, through the large group of artistic portraits that she devoted her whole life to. The exhibition reaches an intense confrontation with her second, chosen home in New York, her travels along the Danube to Romania and paintings of her numerous visits to Austria.
