Burning Man je komunita, dočasné město, dlouholetý experiment i nečekaný výsledek jednoho partnerského rozchodu. Fotograf Marek Musil se ve své volné tvorbě zaměřil na fenomén amerického uměleckého festivalu Burning Man, který se koná od druhé poloviny osmdesátých let uprostřed nevadské pouště v lokalitě Black Rock Desert. Díky jeho fotkám máme možnost nasát svobodomyslnou atmosféru festivalů v obsáhlém fotografickém souboru Dust and Light.
Burning Man is more than just a community; it is a temporary city, a long-term experiment, and the unexpected outcome of a breakup.
Photographer Marek Musil has dedicated his creative work to exploring the phenomenon of the American art festival Burning Man, which has taken place in the Black Rock Desert in Nevada since the late 1980s. Through his extensive photographic series Dust and Light, Musil offers us the chance to immerse ourselves in the festival’s free-spirited atmosphere.
