NA VÝCHOD OD RAJA
Do centra pozornosti sme vybrali región sveta, ktorý zostáva domovom tisícročnej civilizácie, jedinečnej umeleckej tvorivosti, domovom odvážnych autorov a autoriek. Rozhodli sme sa predstaviť krajiny juhozápadnej Ázie, ktoré sú všetky súčasťou perzskej kultúrnej sféry, krajiny, o ktorých vieme naozaj tak málo, ale ktoré si podmanili srdcia všetkých cestovateľov, ktorí sa tam odvážili. Spomedzi inovatívnych fotografických prejavov, kde sú ženy légiou aj pod represívnou nadvládou mužov, sme sa rozhodli predstaviť Gohar Dashti , Maryam Firuzi, Fatimah Hossaini. Český fotograf Jiří Turek ponúka stredoeurópsky pohľad na Afganistan, vzdialenú a v súčasnosti tak kruto izolovanú ostatného civilizovaného sveta.
We have chosen a region of the world that remains the home of a thousand-year-old civilization, unique artistic creativity, the home of courageous authors. We decided to introduce ourselves the countries of Southwest Asia that are part of the Persian cultural sphere, the countries that we know about so few indeed, but which have conquered the hearts of all travelers who have ventured there. Amongst of innovative photographic manifestations, where women are legion even under the representative dominance of men, we are designed by Gohar Dashti, Maryam Firuzi, Fatimah Hossaini. Czech photographer Jiří Turek offers a central European view of Afghanistan, distant and currently so cruelly isolated from the rest the civilized world.
